Berry’s Superior Plated Bullets® are the finest bonded copper-jacketed bullets available today. Starting with a swaged lead core, they are electroplated with copper to their final weight, leaving no lead exposure. They are then re-struck to precise specifications, ensuring a solid bond and providing consistency with every round. Indoor range safe and unbelievably accurate, Berry’s Superior Plated Bullets® are the choice of shooters everywhere.

  • Load data for our Superior Plated Bullets® can be found in any manual or on any powder manufacturer’s website.
  • Cast or jacketed data with the same grain weight and profile will work with our bullets.
  • You can use a taper or a roll crimp.

I load these bullets primarily in a Glock G17 Gen 3. I use this combination for my own practice and also as a loaner for range instruction. I am loading to an Overall Cartridge Length of 1.07″ which is slightly longer than Berry’s suggested 1.06″ OAL. I am using a charge of W231/HP-38 to produce a velocity around 1,000 feet per second. This is a bit below most generic white box 115 grain jacketed round nose ammunition. A little less recoil, 100% reliable feed from the magazines, 100% reliable slide cycle and the Plated Flat Point Bullet makes an easily visible round hole in paper targets.

Have loaded 1000 rds for use in my LC Carbine and Thompson 1927A1. Feeds and fires perfectly in both with better than acceptable accuracy. My new go-to bullet for fun plinking.

7.62 x 39mm (.311) 123gr Spire Point

My go to for reloading 7.62×39! Seem to be consistent and help keep the cost down. They work great in both my ak and sks.

9mm (.356) 147gr Flat Point

These do create a slightly visible ‘belt’ in the case, being .356 diameter, but perform just like the Speer 147g HP, at a fraction of the cost for training. No issues with feeding/cycling in my finicky PSA 8″ Shockwave when…
